The Sehussen Family

(This is the family of Hanne Signe Cesilie Sehussen, who married Jakob Jørgen Frederik Friis. She was Ulrick's mother, and Signe's paternal grandmother.)

Herman Daniel Sehussen, came to Denmark from Prussia. He was supposed to have been an officer in the Prussian Army. It was not known if he was rich or poor. He married a widow, Margrethe Neander. She was the owner of a large estate Ollingse. The estate of Ollingse is on the Island of Laaland. We have no (birth)date for Herman Daniel Sehussen. He died in 1775. The son of Herman Daniel and Marie Margrethe Sehussen was Jørgen Henrik. He was an only child and inherited the estate.He married Diderikke Lonborg (Anna Lonborg's aunt?), daughter of a merchant in Moribo (later it says in Navskov). The King conferred the title of Kammeraad on Henrik. Kammeraad is mere1y an honorary title, given for distinguished citizenship of one kind or another. Henrik died in 1810, and his wife passed away in 1880. Their children were as follows: Anna, Hansine, Marie, Herman Daniel, Diderikke Georgia, and Anna Birgitte.

Anna Sehussen, the first child of Jørgen Hendrik Sehussen and Diderikke Lonborg Sehussen. She married General Lasson who lost his life in the war of 1864. Their children are as follows: Sofie Emilie, George, Stig, and Elise.

Marie Sehussen, the second child of J.H. and D.L. Sehussen. She married Kirkgard, a manager of a large estate. Their children are: Emilie, Petra, and Henriette.

Hansine Sehussen, the third child of J.H. and D.L. Sehussen. She married Mr. Krojer. They had two children, Hans Christian and George.

Herman Daniel Sehussen, the fourth child of J.H. and D.L. Sehussen. Herman Daniel married Anna Lonberg (a cousin?). Their children were Christian Henrik, Carl Emil, ard Hermand Theodor. Hermand lost his first wife and married his wife's sister, Emilie Lonborg. The children were: Rudolph Lonborg, Anna Marie Diderikke, Hanne Signe Cecilie, Emilie, Vilhelmine Louise.

Diderikke Georgia Sehussen, the fifth child of J.H. and D.L, Sehussen. She married Mathias Wilhjelm, the owner of a very large estate. Their children are as follows: Diderikke Beate, Johannes Peter Christian, Mathias Wilhjelm who has the honorary title of Justitsraad and Knight of Dannebrog. (Dannebrog is the name of the Danish Flag, which has been in existence for over a thousand years.)

Anna Birgitte Sehussen, the sixth child of J.H. and D.L. Sehussen. She married Provst Friedlick. (Provst means pastor but one degree higher in the Danish Lutheran Church.) (Their children were Sofie, Emilie, George, Stig, Elsie.)

The D.L & Anna B. Sehussen Lasson Family

Sofie, the first child of General Lasson and Anna B.S. Lasson, died unmarried.

Emilie, the second child of General and A.B.S. Lasson, married a merchant by the mane of H.C. Krojer who lived in Maribo.

George, the third child of General and A.B.S. Lasson, married the daughter of Kammerherre Leutten. Her name was Marie. George graduated and became a Lieutenant in the army. He was later promoted to Colonel. He received the honorary degrees of Kammerherre, then Knight of Dannebro, then Chief of the King's Guard and then promoted to General. He was killed in the battle of Dybbol in the war of 1864.

Stig, the fourth child of General and A.B.S. Lasson was a merchant. He was married and lived and died in the town of Horsens.

Elsie, the fifth child of General and A.B.S. Lasson, married her cousin George Krojer, the owner of a very large estate by the name of Engelsholm.

The Marie Sehussen Kirkegard Family

(The children of Kirkegard and Marie Sehussen Kirkegard.)

Emilie was the first child of Kirkegard and Marie Sehussen Kirkegard. She married a Mr. Smith, a druggist in Nakskov.

Petra, the second child of Kirkegard and M.S. Kirkegard. She married Mr. Krojer, a brewer. They lived in the town of Odense.

Henriette, the third child of Kirkegard and M.S. Kirkegard. She remained unmarried.

The Hansine Sehussen Krojer Family

(The children of Krojer and Hansine Sehussen Krojer.)

Hans Christian, the first child of Krojer and Hansine Sehussen Krojer, was an artist of wide repute. He graduated from the Art Institute of Copenhagen. He specialized in beautiful paintings of portraits and landscapes. He remained unmarried.

George, the second child of Krojer and H.S. Krojer, was married to his cousin, Elise Lasson. (He owned a very large estate by the name of Engelsholm.)

The Hermand Daniel Sehussen Family

(The children of Hermand Daniel Sehussen.)

Christian Henrik, the. first child of Hermand Daniel Sehussen and Anna Lonborg. He married Karen Chlausen.

Carl Emil, the second child of H.D. Sehussen and Anna Lonborg. He never married and was the captain of a sailing vessel.

Hermand Theodore, the third child of H.D. Sehussen and Anna Lonborg. He remained in obscurity and we have no information about him.

The Lonborg Family

This is the family of the mother of Hanne Signe Cesilie Sehusse's mother (Anna Lonborg) and grandmother (Diedrikke Lonborg). Hanne was Ulrick's mother, and Signe's paternal grandmother.

They came from Lonborg in Jutland. The great grandfather came from there to Copenhagen as a soldier. They do not know his initials or whom he married. He became a merchant in Nakskov. (Earlier it described Diderikke's father as "a merchant in Moribo.") His three children were born there and are as follows:

Christian Rudolf, the first child of Lonborg. He was born in 1766. He married Marie Margrethe Wilde, daughter of Justitsraad Vilde, customs inspector. Christian was a wholesale dealer in wines. He lived in Kakskov and died there December 25, 1853. He had an illegitimate child with a Swedish girl. The son took the mother's family name and his father's first name (Christian Rudolf Lindel). He inherited his father's business.

Diderikke Lonborg, the second child of Lonborg. She married Jørgen Henrik Sehussen. He inherited the estate of Ollingsø. (Anna and Emilie Lonborg were her nieces.)

The name of the third child is not known but she married a Mr. Guildborg, a merchant who lived in Nakskov.

Christian Rudolf and M.M.W. Lonborg had five children.

Cecilie Lonborg, The first child of C.R. Lonborg. She was married to Mr. Fogalsang, a broker. He was an importer of merchandise which he bought and sold in large lots. He died on a return business trip from China. Cecilie married another broker by the name of Ludwigsen. They had no children and Ludwigsen lived to be a very old man. Cecilie and Fogalsang had four (Danish version says three) children, Marie, Rudolf, and Vilhelm. (Danish version says Marie, Cecilie, and Sofie, and doesn't include Rudolf or Vilhelm.)

Marie Fogelsang, The first child of Fogelsang and Cecilie Lonborg. She married Mr. Peterson, who received the honorary title of Justitsraad and served as an assistant secretary in one of the Government bureaus.

Cecilia & Sofie Lonborg, the second and third children of Fogelsang and Cecilie Lonborg. Cecelie and Sophie never married and spent their entire lives in Copenhagen.

Rudolf Folsang, (Danish version has only a question mark.)

Vilhelm Fogelsang never married.

Petra Lonborg, the first child of C. Lonborg and Ludvigsen. She married Mr. Helst, a captain in the army. He received the honorary title of Etatsraad was on the board of directors in charge of the Danish railway system. He was also Knight of Dannebrog. He spent his life in Copenhagen.

Anna Lønborg, gift med (married) Herman Daniel Seehuusen. (The child of C.R. Lonborg M.M.W. Lonborg)

Emilie Sofie Lønborg, blev Herman Daniel Seehuusens aden Hustru. (The child of C.R. Lonborg M.M.W. Lonborg. Married Herman after the death of Anna. )

Louise Caroline Lonborg, the child of C.R. Lonborg. She married Mr. Eigler. He was the church organist in Nakskov. They had four children: Carl, Theodov, Nathalia, and Emanuel. Emanuel went to Buenos Aires. He married there and did not keep in touch with his family.
