Dear Ruth and Harold, I have been writing thank yous to other folks
who helped at my 100 year birthday party, however the most important
ones to thank are you my children who made this whole thing possible. |
| Many times I have thought how I could ever be so fortunate to be so blessed with children as wonderful as you six children. You are so good, kind, and thoughtful of me, it does not seem I deserve so much. So I want to thank each one of you not just or the wonderful party but for all the years we have had together, and as time goes on those years become more precious.
It is not just you six children but the people you married have added so much to our family and they in turn have become my children and are just as kind and good and precious as my own. And thank you for them. For a long time it seemed we had a pretty hard time of it. But with God’s help and many prayers we made it. Yes I did a lot praying as I did not know which way to turn. No one could quite hit the right chord so I just prayed and as time [went] on we made the right choices. We became closer and I believe happier. Our life became what we as a family wanted and the happy times we have had cannot be equaled. And so my dear ones, I want you to know I so appreciate each one of you so much and love you dearly and thank each one for a good and beautiful life. God bless you and your families as we all continue our travels on the road way of life. Merry Christmas, Love Mom |
